About you
Core competencies required are:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in procurement, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning and design, preferably in development context
- Strong technical skills and experience in procurement processes, including preparation of bid documents, tendering, evaluation, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies, including those of international organisations such as World Bank and the United Nations
- Experience in supplier pre-qualification and due diligence assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English, with excellent writing and presentation skills
- Experience working with international development organizations or donors, such as World Bank, USAID, DFAT, MCC, FCDO, EU, AfDB and ADB is an advantage.

About You

- Knowledge of transport demand management strategies, sustainable transport, and environmental regulations.
- Experience in transport modeling, including traffic flow analysis and travel demand forecasting.

- Technical knowledge of the transport sector in Kenya, including policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams of experts in complex projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience in areas such as governance, leadership, strategic planning, financial management, and human resource management
