Wildlife Research and Training Institute (WRTI), is a premier government institute located in Naivasha, Kenya. It offers Diploma and Certificate programs in wildlife, tourism and hospitality management. The Institute is reg- istered as a Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution by the Technical and Vocational

Education Training Authority (TVETA) under the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife & Heritage. The institute wishes to invite applications for June 2023 intake in the following programmes

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS SHORT COURSES
Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management

Certificate in Aquaculture (fish farming)

1. International Course on African Wet- lands Management (ICAWM) & Climate Change
2. Basic Certificate Course for Practicing Tour Guides (BC- CPTG)

Diploma in Wildlife Management Certificate in Community Wildlife Management

Diploma in Environmental Management

Certificate in Nature Interpretation and Tour Administration

Diploma in Fisheries & Aquatic Sciences

Minimum Qualifications
• D (Plain) or
• D- (Minus) with 3 years working experience in relevant field

Minimum Qualifications
• C- (Minus) or
• D+ (Plus) with 3 years working experience in relevant field Tuition fee per semester: Ksh.39,000*(East Africa citizens) USD 760* (other nationalities) *Excludes field training programs, field uniform and other standard charges.

Tuition fee per semester:
Ksh.55,000* (Citizens of East Africa) USD 1,130 * (other nationalities)

Interested candidates are requested to send their filled applica-tion forms including copies of academic certificates, testimonials where applicable and copies of national ID/Passport or birth certificate. The applications must be accompanied by a bank deposit slip of a non-refundable application fee of Kshs.2,000 for East Africans and USD40 for non-east Africans.
